Your new company

This global group have a number of offices around the world. With this role sitting in the Dublin West office, they are looking to hire someone who has a strong background in accounts production, and exposure to the retail or distribution industry. This organisation began trading in Ireland nearly 20 years ago, and since their conception here in Dublin they have grown substantially, with a number of subsidiaries and office locations.
Given the industry, this role will be a fully office-based role and does not currently operate a hybrid working policy. Applicants must be aware and happy to proceed on the basis of working fully in office in West Dublin.

Your new role

This role calls for a strong part-qualified or finalist-level candidate, with experience working in a fast-paced accounting role previously. It is desired that candidates are fluent in Madarin as there is daily communication with external suppliers who are often based in China.

Duties :

• Accounts production to sign off monthly and annual accounts preparation
• General accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Journal posting
• Reconciliations
• Cashflow management
• Financial reporting
• Budget and forecasting
• VAT and other tax returns
• Payroll preparation
• Assistance where required with inventory management and the procurement process.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a part or fully qualified accountant or working toward a professional qualification. Exposure to Sage 50 and Shopify is a distinct advantage. This role calls for excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative. You will be successful in this role if you are detail-oriented and future-focused.

As mentioned above, fluency or conversational Mandarin is preferred for this role.

What you'll get in return

You will be offered a competitive market salary of between €45,000 - €55,000 depending on your level of experience. This role does offer ample room to grow in the future and move within the parent group. Pension and other benefits are included and will commence after 1 year's service. This role is centrally located in Dublin west, easily accessible from the M50, M7 and M4, covering a multitude of Dublin, Kildare and Meath suburbs.
