Here at Hays we have an outstanding opportunity with our Cork-based client, an innovative independent manufacturer who specialise in the supply of purpose-built technology to clients in the biotech industry. They are actively seeking a Lead Product Manager on a permanent basis to oversee the management of their Single Use Technology (SUT) portfolio. This dynamic role offers ample opportunities for learning and development in a unique workplace that promotes forward-thinking and positive progression.

Your new role

• Ability to drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams
• Analyse customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective
• Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
• Willingness to analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
• Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
• Appraise new product ideas and strategise appropriate go-to-market plans
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant Degree in Process, Biotechnology, Chemical or Engineering related field.
• 4 plus years’ experience in a biopharmaceutical field and having experience of working with single-use technologies
• Exceptional problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to distill and relay complex information effectively
• Strong technical experience in a dynamic product management role
• Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
