National Energy & Sustainability Manager

Welcome to the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA).

The IWA is now seeking to appoint a National Energy & Sustainability Manager who will report to the National Director of IWA Funded Services.

As the National Energy & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for taking a lead role in delivering on the IWA’s Climate Action Roadmap, meeting the associations public sector obligations, and building on its green culture. This pivotal role will work closely with and coordinate the actions of existing services and support structures working with key stakeholders both across the organisation nationally and with external partners.

While managing both a team and budget, you will drive strategic goals in sustainability and energy across transport, waste, food waste, and supply chain de-carbonisation.

Finally, your career to date will demonstrate experience in the management and delivery of Energy, Sustainability, Waste and Climate Action Change Programmes.

The role is a 3 year fixed term, location flexible, with Hybrid working model available.
