Assistant Architect role with well-known Cork-based Architectural Practice

Hays has been retained to recruit a Project Architect for a large, well known Architectural Practice with offices in Dublin and Cork.


Your new role

Our client are looking for a confident and forward-thinking Assistant Architect to join their Cork studio and contribute to a multidisciplinary major projects design team.

Responsibilities include:
Working both autonomously and with direction to achieve desired results.
Collaborating with design team, stakeholders and senior architects.
Overseeing working to assist architecture team in design and planning.
Performing site visits.
Project delivery, planning and budgeting.


What you'll need to succeed

2-3 years’ experience.
Proficient user of software packages relevant to specific tasks, with the ability to engage with various packages.
Revit proficiency is essential.
Strong design ability and technical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Excellent organisational skills, the ability to plan and work to agreed timelines, a thorough, diligent approach to work and driven to see things through to completion.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements, and work within a fast-paced environment.
Conscientious and respectful in communications, with excellent collaborative skills.
Motivated to achieve best in class design, construction, and project execution.
Willingness to take advantage of development opportunities
The ability to think systematically and to interpret complex information is essential.
