Are you looking for your next step in your career? An Engineering consultancy in Donegal is looking to add an experienced Architect or Engineer to their team as an Assigned Certifier to oversee the construction of their projects.

Your new role

This role would suit a Registered Architect, Chartered Engineer or Building Surveyor. The successful candidate will have the skills necessary to determine and define each project’s scope of work and deliverables. You will be responsible for preparing tenders, supervising tendering procedures, preparing proposals, and managing, supervising, and visiting contractors on-site. You will have demonstrated your experience in resolving design issues in a timely manner.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a third level degree in architecture, engineering or similar discipline. Chartership or registration as an architect is essential for this role. 7+ years experience in a consultancy or practice. You will need to be based locally as regular office visits will be required, along with site visits. Comfortable reading and understanding drawing. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software. Demonstrated knowledge of construction & engineering principles. Strong leadership, management & communication skills. A full licence and transport is required.
